The office is located in the Thoreau Center for Sustainability.  We are subtenants of United Religions Initiative (URI).  There is a parking lot in front of the building.  Parking can be difficult.  Do not park in a red zone.

Entering Building 1009:  Buildings 1007, 1008, 1009 are listed on the sign outside the building. Go through the center glass doors, walk to the bottom of the hallway/ramp, and turn right.  Enter the offices of United Religions Initiative. Make an immediate LEFT down the hall.  We are the third occupied space next to the windows on the left side.

DRIVING FROM SFO AIRPORT: Driving north, take the 9th Street exit, also marked as the Civic Center exit, it will become Larkin Street, drive north on Larkin Street and turn LEFT on Pine Street; and drive west, turn RIGHT on Presidio Avenue. Stay on Presidio Avenue; enter at the Presidio Gate.  Follow directions below from Presidio Gate.

DRIVING FROM THE BAY BRIDGE: Driving west, take the 9th Street exit, also marked as “Civic Center” exit, it will become Larkin Street, drive north on Larkin Street and turn LEFT on Pine Street; and drive west, turn RIGHT on Presidio Avenue. Stay on Presidio Avenue; enter at the Presidio Gate. Follow directions below from Presidio Gate.

FROM PRESIDIO GATE: Drive on Presidio Avenue through a wooded area; continue through the three-way stop sign at Lombard. Stay on Presidio to Lincoln (name change). At the next stop sign (Letterman Drive), you will see our building -  white stucco with a red tile roof on your right (Thoreau Center). Go past the building, turn RIGHT on GIRARD and go behind the Thoreau Center. Turn RIGHT into the parking lot.

DRIVING FROM 280: North on Park Presidio. Cross Lake Street through tunnel. Shortly after that, the road forks; take the right fork east toward the Marina and downtown San Francisco. Stay in the right lane. Road forks again and you will see a sign for the Presidio.  Follow the sign to the right (Lyon Street). Go a couple of blocks and turn right on Lombard Street, through the gate to the Presidio.  Lombard ends at a three-way stop sign at Presidio Blvd. Bear right onto Presidio and continue down the hill 100 yards to another stop sign (Presidio changes to Lincoln). At the next stop sign (Letterman Drive you will see our building -  white stucco with a red tile roof on your right (Thoreau Center). Go past the building, turn RIGHT on GIRARD and behind the Thoreau Center. Turn RIGHT into the parking lot.

DRIVING FROM MARIN:  Drive south across the Golden Gate Bridge you want to go east toward the Marina and downtown San Francisco. Stay in the right lane as the road forks (left fork will lead to the Marina, right fork to Lombard Street and downtown San Francisco). Just past the fork, you will see a sign for the Presidio. 

Follow the sign to the right (Lyon Street) to RIGHT on LOMBARD STREET, through the gate to the Presidio.  Lombard ends at a stop sign at Presidio Blvd. Bear right onto Presidio. Continue down the hill 100 yards to another stop sign (Presidio changes to Lincoln). You will see our building -  white stucco with a red tile roof on your right (Thoreau Center). Go past the building, turn RIGHT on GIRARD and go behind the Thoreau Center. Turn RIGHT into the parking lot.
