FUTURE PROJECTS
RockRose Institute is committed to its mission of supporting, promoting and advancing non-violent conflict resolution, through public forums for interdisciplinary dialogue, training in communication and the development of educational tools, materials and programs for individuals, educators and community leaders.
Post-Forum Responsibilities. RockRose is working intensely on post-Forum business, continuing to connect participants who share similar post-Forum action commitments, processing feedback and responding to requests for information. In addition, we are preparing a survey for all Forum participants. The survey will provide us with an assessment of the Forum’s impact, as well as giving us information to guide our future projects.
Youth Dialogue Project. The Youth Dialogue Project (YDP) activities continue until the end of May, when the program’s current funding expires. We are in the process of seeking ongoing funding for this program.
New Programs. The Board of Directors of RockRose Institute is exploring next steps for the organization, including a number of significant future programs and collaborations growing out of the Forum.
RockRose is considering the following projects:

•Partnering in an international conference with a focus on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

•Offering group and/or organizational communications training.

•Expanding our Youth Dialogue Project, potentially bridging our project with other existing youth projects.

•Partnering with additional youth organizations working with youth under 18.

•Developing interpersonal communication skills through the portal of horsemanship.
