Youth Dialogue Project SM
The Youth Dialogue Project’s (YDP) mission is to support emerging young leaders in becoming stewards of dialogue by developing skills to transform conflict and creating opportunities for cross-cultural connection between generations.
Through RockRose Institute, the YDP initially engages youth from five directions of the world: North, South, East, West, and the Center. Respectively, the countries represented are Denmark, South Africa, New Zealand, the United States, and Cyprus. Six youth between the ages of 18 and 25 were selected to represent each of these countries, based on their role as change-makers in their communities and their on-going commitment to non-violence.
“The mutual learnings between generations is absolutely necessary if humankind is to survive. This need for vigorous and authentic intergenerational dialogue has never been more urgent. The future is in the hands of the youth leadership.”
